Job Description

Clarksburg Cider is seeking a proven, growth-oriented Manager for our Tap Room and Cider Club. You will lead all team members to exceed the expectation of the company and the guests of the Tap Room. Ensures the consistent planning, production, preparation and prompt delivery of great-tasting food and beverage prepared and presented to each guest. Responsible for operational efficiency and profitability of Tap Room related operations. Will also be responsible for the development with the General Manager for a strategic plan for growth of our planned Cider Club. Trains and retains new and experienced staff members and continually develops them in their technical skills, 'salesmanship', food safety, and guest service. Creates an atmosphere in the restaurant that builds energy, fun and enthusiasm for Clarksburg Cider and our guests.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Organize and coordinate special events for the Tap Room
  • Hire and train Tap Room staff
  • Management of Tap Room inventory for front of house operations
  • Assist General Manager in development of Standard Operating Procedures
  • Attend various cider festivals and other industry events outside of normal business hours
  • Facilitate and grow the Cider Club for Clarksburg Cider
  • Management of all online sales of cider and merchandise
  • Inventory management of all retail merchandise sold in the Tap Room
  • Assist in menu development along with the General Manager and Head Chef.
  • Create and provide an environment of exceptional service for all guests visiting the Tap Room

Required Experience

  • 3-5 years hospitality management experience specifically in a craft beverage environment
  • Experience with leading direct-to-consumer online sales of alcohol products or related items
  • Exceptional Leadership Skills
  • Able to manage a budget
  • Ability to hold staff accountable for exceptional customer service experience.

Work Environment:

  • Retail, Bar/Restaurant facility (Primary)
  • Hard Cider Production Facility- (Secondary)
  • Off-site events or settings
  • Agricultural setting farm (optional at times)
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and some events.
