Exodus Movement, Inc., a Delaware corporation, is a blockchain and cryptocurrency software company and we are fully remote with our founders and base located in Nebraska. The Company currently has the equivalent of 147 full time employees. Our wallet allows customers to send, receive, and exchange Bitcoin and 100+ cryptocurrencies with ease on the world’s leading Desktop, Mobile, and Hardware crypto wallets.

We are looking for an exceptional Compliance Officer to serve as a subject matter expert and ensure Exodus remains compliant with applicable laws and regulations. Your main responsibilities would include overseeing both the OFAC and GDPR Privacy Compliance Programs. You will work closely with the Exodus legal team to develop and implement any necessary improvements to the existing programs, and you will report directly to the CFO.

What You Will Do
  • Ensure Exodus is following the procedures outlined in its OFAC Compliance Policy, Record Retention Policy, and GDPR Privacy Policy.
  • Perform periodic reviews of Exodus’s Compliance Policies and update as needed.
  • File OFAC Reports on rejected transactions in a timely manner (within 10 days of occurrence).
  • Work closely with the legal team to strengthen the overall culture of compliance at Exodus.
  • Maintain extremely well-organized records.
Who You Are
  • You have an overall understanding and passion for what we do here at Exodus, and can take direction from the management team.
  • You can help to cultivate a culture of compliance and collaboration amongst the Exodus team.
  • Knowledge and previous exposure to the cryptocurrency industry.
  • Experienced in developing, implementing, administering, and monitoring all aspects of the OFAC Compliance Program.
  • ACAMS certification is a plus.
  • Experience with OFAC reports on rejected transactions is a plus.
  • Experience as a Compliance Officer for a cryptocurrency company is a plus.
  • GDPR experience is a plus.
