YvesBlue is building an intuitive data analytics platform that helps our clients understand their investments’ impact on the world. We’re looking to hire a product manager to lead and execute the product vision for our impact reporting platform. The perfect candidate is a collaborative, tenacious product owner who is interested in solving the challenging problem of making complex data and analytics easy to understand and simple to use. The Role
- Work with the executive team, stakeholders and clients to translate vision in product reality.
- Build a product management practice that will scale with the company’s growth.
- Work closely with analysts to take analytical approaches to impact reporting to live products, often starting with a more manual approach as we figure out ways to automate processes and analysis.
- Work directly with analysts and engineers to ensure that the quality of the reporting meets our internal and client expectations.
- Participate in product requirement sessions, research sessions and client presentations to gather important information to share with the broader product engineering group.
- Manage and maintain the product backlog and roadmap.
- Educate yourself and others, growing skillsets and exploring, and evangelizing new technologies where appropriate.
Projects You Might Work On
- Roll out new modules depicting new analyses or data sources coming in from our analysis and research tool.
- Lead client interviews and feedback sessions and synthesize that feedback into product strategy.
Requirements
- Significant experience in impact investing and impact reporting.
- Significant knowledge of the impact investing ecosystem including data providers, regulatory frameworks and approaches too analytics.
- Significant experience working on a SAAS-based platform.
- Experience working with a wire framing tool (we use Balsamiq) to take vision and brainstorming sessions through to testable experiences.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and a strong ability to champion your ideas (and your peers) in discussions and presentations.
- Comfortable working in an agile, yet pragmatic startup environment balancing quality, speed and practicality when building and releasing software.
- A willingness to grow and learn in your role and help others grow in theirs. Everyone on our team is both a student and a teacher.
