Job Summary: A Manager, Programmatic drives strategy, optimization and execution across all in-house platforms and works to ensure the highest level of quality work, strategic thinking, and collaboration with both internal amp;external partners. The Manager, Programmatic can drive all aspects of strategy amp; execution and will oversee and mentor any junior team members (Associates, Coordinators) so that they can grow in their roles. The Manager is expected to produce weekly pacing reports to be shared with their supervisor, along with any recommendations on strategic test opportunities.

This is a fast-paced position requiring work across a variety of clients. Strong communication, organization and multi-tasking are a must. This person must not be shy about asking questions and being resourceful in finding answers. Vendor relationships are also critical here and the manager will be one of the most consistent vendor-facing people on the team. Those relationships must be fostered well to maintain our reputation in the market and ability to provide great work and pricing for our clients. With the speed of evolution within programmatic, it is vital to have a passion for learning and a desire to continually push the boundaries of what is perceived as status quo.

Duties/Responsibilities: Working with programmatic team to expand on JUST’s programmatic practice and working with other internal teams to ensure client success.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Holistic ownership of client accounts, including strategy, planning, budgeting, and reporting
  • Providing strategic and executional support to team members on a variety of clients with different complexities and backgrounds
  • Specializing in topics that require cross-team collaboration
  • Researching, testing and evaluating new data providers, DSP’s and other partners
  • Constantly staying on top of platform improvements and new offerings in the programmatic space
  • Communicating with vendors on latest and greatest ad tech in the industry
  • Expected to help educate the agency on the capabilities within these platforms through ongoing meeting facilitation, note taking, and POV creation.
  • Curios about what’s new and possible in media and will seek to identify test opportunities and ‘firsts’ to drive innovation for clients.

Requirements

  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Programmatic space, including inventory, capabilities, and DSP’s Understanding of integrated marketing communications and the digital media landscape
  • Ability to provide compelling points of view to the Account Team to help drive media strategy
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to meet or exceed expectations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • A good sense of humor
  • Following skill are a huge plus (not required)
    • Google Analytics, Google Ads, Ad serving or Paid Social Media Experience
  • Has mastered the Associate level or-
  • If hired from the outside would be expected to have equivalent agency or managed service provided experience and strong performance track record.
  • Has a strong portfolio of past work that forms the basis of strategic insights to offer to Account Teams and clients.
  • 2+ years of experience in online advertising, specifically with a Programmatic background
  • Bachelor’s Degre
