Overview:
To support our Gorillas’ expansion team, we are looking for a strategic planning manager who will make key strategic decisions to support our growth in new US markets. You will be responsible for understanding and forecasting equipment, capital expenditure and other key strategic needs as we scale rapidly.
Requirements
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and own key models and projections of strategic considerations for the expansion team
- Be responsible for cash impact management, and sensitivity forecasting
- Work closely with the Head of US Expansion and Senior Leadership to develop and meet KPIs
- Communicate with vendors and supplier partners to meet expansion objectives
- Work closely with expansion managers to understand on-the-ground needs for launches
- Responsibility for creating and sharing reports on strategic needs for the US organization
- Accountable for planning and providing requisite material needs for all locations in the Gorillas US network
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Financial modeling (intermediate), forecasting and planning experience
- Previous experience or internship in a professional role in a fast-paced, start-up environment (IB, Management Consulting, Start Ups)
- Familiarity with planning and forecasting
- Attention to detail and love to work with people and numbers at the same time
- Hands-on mentality and are willing to get your hands dirty
- Strong analytical mind but still think in a pragmatic way
