Founded in 2020 by James Hawkins and Tim Glaser, PostHog was a member of Y Combinator’s Winter 2020 batch, and has subsequent raised $12m in funding from GV, Y Combinator and notable angel investors including Jason Warner (CTO, GitHub), Solomon Hykes (Founder, Docker) and David Cramer (Founder, Sentry).
Requirements
The role
There are a ton of ex-founders who love working at PostHog, because they get to work autonomously and own a large set of problems. We're still super early and we each team is its own little startup, which means defining a problem, talking to users, building a solution and iterating on that.
As a former founder you might come from a background in Engineering, Product, Design or Marketing (or all of them!). We'll always have a place for smart, motivated people and the founder will work with you to define your own role at PostHog.
We are currently a team of 20 - ranging from former founders and CTOs, to college whiz kids, with experience scaling businesses to millions in revenue and thousands of employees.
If you are a former founder and you are looking for an opportunity to work with a world-class team, please get in touch!
