Job Description

The Sales Development Intern will assist with the management of the inbound and outbound lead/opportunity development cycle to develop new leads, research new and existing contacts, and prospect new companies. This role will develop target lists for campaigns, qualify inbound and outbound leads via BANT, convert them to opportunities, set meetings for Account Executives, and support the AE team in various social selling activities to drive opportunities to the proposal stage.

The ideal candidate should have a desire to pursue a career in sales and an interest in understanding a sales territory as a trusted member of the Sales Org. The ideal candidate should be comfortable interacting with Directors, VPs, and C-level execs through the sales activities including email and outbound calling.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify inbound sales leads coming from marketing campaigns via email, phone, voicemail and other inbound channels based upon specific lead qualification criteria definitions ie; BANT.
  • Uncover prospect’s business challenges and capture relevant business information complete BANT section in Salesforce
  • Prospect and generate outbound leads. Create target account lists within a defined territory for outbound leads. Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending regular emails, coordinating strategic discovery meetings)
  • Nurture all qualified inbound sales leads from marketing campaigns based upon specific lead qualification criteria definitions. Generate interest and convert for a discovery meeting with the AE team
  • Utilize a lead generation tool stack, including Salesforce, Linkedin, Zoominfo, Clearbit.
  • Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of Wowza technology and clearly articulate capabilities and advantages to prospective customers.
  • Participate in regular training amp; informational sessions

Compensation:

Hourly $ 12.00 - $15.00
