Job Description
The construction industry is the second largest industry in the world and yet, it is one of the least productive. Construction accounting systems lack connectivity, making it nearly impossible for them to implement software applications for project management, expense reporting, etc. to improve their productivity.
Ryvit helps construction companies by enabling the adoption of best-of-breed software applications through turnkey integration solutions. We partner with software companies like Procore and Concur to bring integration solutions to construction companies through the Ryvit Marketplace.
The Director of Implementation and Support at Ryvit is expected to apply expert knowledge of the implementation and customer support processes, provide strategic direction, make decisions and solve complex problems to move the business forward while managing an integrated team of Customer Success Engineers amp; Support Specialists.
The Director of Implementation and Support is a people leader role. Candidates will be evaluated based on their ability to effectively manage a team and achieve outcomes through others as opposed to their ability to produce results on an individual basis.
The Director of Implementation amp; Support is primarily responsible for:
- Management of all client implementation projects
- Oversight and management of the Customer Support function, including accountability for the response and resolution SLAs
- Managing resource allocation based on project demand. Project size and scope will be variable. Type of projects may include, but are not limited to, new implementation projects, service tickets and changes to existing integrations
- Proactively leading the identification, design, and implementation of scalable process improvements
- Establishing subject matter expertise in the implementation and support functions
- Serving as an escalation point both internally and externally
- Identifying and eliminating internal and external blockers to ensure that projects remain on track and client commitments are met
- Providing the Leadership team with leadership level updates regarding the health of the support and implementation functions
- The Director of Implementation and Support may be asked to act as the Implementation leader in one or more projects
The Director of Implementation amp; Support will report to the Chief Operating Officer.

Remote Consideration:
- The opportunity for remote consideration is available for the right candidate and will be based on regionality. With an expectation of there being regular onsite visits to the office (monthly or bimonthly after initial training and onboarding), we’re ideally looking for applicants approximately within a 300-mile radius from our headquarters in St Louis, MO.
Requirements
Required Educationand Experience:
- Undergraduate degree, masters degree preferred
- Previous implementation and project management experience
- Experience with the ITIL framework
- Ability to read/write complex SQL queries
- Knowledge of APIs and/or large database programs.
- A keen attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate up, down, and across the business
- Experience and success working directly with customers
- Demonstrable problem solving and process improvement skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A work hard, play hard mentality

- Knowledge of one or more of the following:
- Sage 300 CRE construction accounting software
- Spectrum by Viewpoint construction software
- Vista by Viewpoint construction management software
- Knowledge and experience with the phases of the construction life-cycle including accounting practices and project management.
