The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and curious full-time HR Coordinator to join our People team in New York. This is an opportunity to support BCW’s largest market and contribute to a wide variety of People projects that aim to support our people, team, and agency. You will be working along-side a dedicated and seasoned team of People professionals who will support your growth across all aspects of talent management onboarding, recruiting, learning amp; development, performance management, people analytics and more.

What you’ll do as you move with us:

  • Oversee all new hire onboarding coordinating equipment setup with IT, creating onboarding schedules, sending new hire paperwork, tracking E-Verify and I-9 completion, conducting background checks when necessary, serve as main POC for all joiners to ensure they get acclimated, assist with new hire onboarding agenda scheduling and adding new hires to appropriate reports and streams
  • Assist with full-life cycle recruitment for AC and AAE level positions across Healthcare, Corporate and Brand craft job descriptions, conduct reference checks, source, screen, and schedule qualified candidates, schedule interviews and serve as a BCW Brand Ambassador to educate candidates on our company, offerings, work culture, and benefits
  • Assist with HAROLD internship program training calendar, vetting candidate applications, helping to facilitate in-office visits
  • Assist teams in performance management processes in Cornerstone system
  • Create, organize, and update reports and employee trackers as needed
  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance and when necessary, redirect questions to the appropriate team members
  • Assist with ad hoc projects (i.e., order and manage monthly birthday gifts for NY staff)
  • Collaborate with broader North America People team on large-scale initiatives and project

Requirements

Experience that contributes to your success:

  • BSc/BA in Human Resource Management or relevant field; additional education/certification in Human Resource Management is a plus
  • Prior internship experience in Human Resources preferred
  • Experience working in a communications agency (whether PR, advertising, marketing, digital, creative, etc.) strongly preferred
  • The ideal candidate will have a broad baseline knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills along with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure time sensitive completion of HR projects
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Passion for creating and cultivating a best place to work and enriching the employee experience
  • Strong organizational, planning and follow-up skills
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality
  • Team-oriented self-starter, with strong relationship building skills and a can do mentality
