ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Principal Program Management Consultant, you will be a part of a fast-paced environment helping clients solve complex issues and delivering exceptional results. You are a self-driven management consultant who excels at guiding organizations to accomplish their strategic objectives through effective execution. You have the proven ability to effectively manage transformation projects of medium to large size, ambiguous structure, with varying technical and business requirements. Our Principal Program Management Consultants thrive when they can dig in with their sleeves rolled up from day one to understand the internal landscape, build relationships with the client team, and follow through on execution to achieve a desired outcome.

OUR APPROACH AND THE WORK YOU’LL DO

  • Listen: to gain a deep understanding of the business, industry, and the problem to solve to deliver solutions
  • Create: design effective processes and plans to drive change and desired outcomes through projects, programs, and roadmaps
  • Execute: lead and implement all aspects of the plan including stakeholder management, budget tracking, and vendor management
  • Measure: identify and define KPIs, scorecard reporting amp; dashboards to achieve a target ROI
  • Sustain: facilitate meetings and workshops with clear objectives to prepare for a seamless transition to the internal operations team to sustain long-term business results

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Bachelor's Degree and strong academic record in business administration or related field
  • 5+ years of consulting or internal consulting experience preferred
  • 10+ years project/program management with success managing medium to large projects using various methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, CI/CD, etc)
  • Experience working with formal process improvement projects (Kaizen, Six Sigma, Lean process improvement, value improvement etc. )
  • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with experience in technology implementation or systems integration
  • Experience leading a team, collaborating with peers, identifying project needs, driving resolution, and holding team members accountable
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills; rigorous approach to project management to deliver outcomes on enterprise level projects.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to executive business leaders (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Comfort handling ambiguity and managing multiple assignments
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
