We are looking for a great Community amp; Social Media Manager to join our team and lead our social media efforts and community engagement across the company. This role will be responsible for developing, executing and, measuring our strategies across owned social platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and advocacy for OnScale. You will play a key role in the content strategy, development and deployment across our channels helping us create built-for-social content that reaches and engages the right audiences. This is an ideal role for someone who is self-motivated, creative, analytical, and collaborative. You should be very comfortable owning and running with initiatives.


Job Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary voice of our brand, posting daily across global social media channels.
  • Plan and manage the creation, posting, and optimization of day-to-day social media content across a range of channels focusing primarily on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter
  • Inform the vision and development of organic social content, with a relentless commitment to excellence for all social activities.
  • Own social media calendar planning, mapping out priority topics, themes, and events by week.
  • Drive the social content development process end-to-end: channel strategy, creative development, content drafting, scheduling, deployment, reporting, and analysis.
  • Create social listening and competitive reporting to uncover meaningful audience insights and inspire new content opportunities.
  • Track and own social media analytics, delivering monthly reports on performance against KPIs.
  • Proactively share learnings with actionable recommendations to optimize engagement, relevance and reach for continuous improvement.
  • Bring fresh ideas for repurposing high-performing content and taking advantage of customer activations and partnerships.
  • Actively engage with followers and respond to conversations to strengthen our community, helping to build the OnScale brand.
  • Build and implement highly engaging social media campaigns, supporting new product launches and company announcements.
  • Monitor trends to capitalize on real-time brand opportunities to showcase OnScale thought leadership in the Engineering Industry.
  • Proactively monitor and raise trending risk areas with recommendations for how to mitigate.

Requirements

Qualifications/Experience

  • 3 years experience in social media
  • A strong track record of building effective social media content strategies and reaching ambitious KPIs and engagement goals.
  • Ability to translate information into compelling social copy.
  • Proficiency with CSS, HTML, and Javascript for the purposes of content authorship
  • Proven experience interpreting social media data and using insights to shape content and channel strategies.
  • Deep understanding of the evolving social media landscape, and keep a pulse on the latest best practices, tools and trends.
  • Preferably a Technical Engineering background with a passion for building engineering communities.
