Platform Partnerships Manager

Platform Partnerships Managers are responsible for owning and growing existing relationships with platform partners through agile project management, data insights, and cross-functional coordination with internal Spring teams. PPM’s will report to the Head of Platform Partnerships and will be goaled on growing creator signups and revenue from the platform(s) they individually manage. Platform Partnerships Managers own and manage Spring’s relationships with the biggest and most important social platforms in the world. They are responsible for collaborating with our partners to drive growth through acquisition of new creators. Reporting into the head of Platform Partnerships, this exciting and highly visible role is at the forefront of Spring’s growth, as such we’re looking for a self-starting entrepreneur that is able to understand the partner and industry landscape, identify opportunities, and maximize them independently.


What you’ll do

  • Full ownership and management of day-to-day execution, communication, reporting, and collaboration with platform partners
  • Develop platform-specific strategy to drive signups and GMV from partners by pitching and executing on partnership activities like marketing, PR, and new development/product releases
  • Own all data associated with platforms partnerships and leverage insights to drive growth.
  • Manage all aspects of go-to-marketing moments for new product releases.
  • Report to executives on key metrics and insights and create growth plans with cross-functional teams based on this data
  • Identify top managed platform creators for acquisition via creator partnerships team
  • Work cross-functionally to identify high-value creators on Spring and surface them to our SPM team or digital pod
  • Work with prod/eng and marketing to identify opportunities for optimization and growth
  • Communicate across cross-functional teams internally to manage an industry leading experience from signup to onboarding to support.
  • Align execution plans with company strategy (ex: digital products)
  • Maintain intimate knowledge of industry landscape associated with manage platforms and present important information/opportunities to Spring org

Requirements

What we’re looking for.

  • 3+ years of enterprise account management or project management experience, ideally in social media or ecommerce, or other relevant experience within the Creator commerce ecosystem.
  • Ability to understand and prioritize a partner’s goals and successfully leverage that knowledge to support Spring’s strategy.
  • Passion for learning about the social media and creator economy, with a solid understanding of the latest updates from major players in the space.
  • Consultative approach to building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting, and completion of planned deliverables.
  • Analytical skills: logical reasoning, critical thinking, communication, research, data analysis, and creativity.
  • Collaborative personality able to effectively partner with many different kinds of people across many internal and external projects and teams.
  • Adaptable to changes and ambiguous situations with minimal direction.
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities, balancing partner and internal deliverables on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Technical skills required: Google sheets and Excel
  • Technical skills preferred: Confluence, Yesware, Monday.com, and other project management software
  • Experience working with technical teams (product managers, engineers, data scientists) is a big bonus!
