We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced talent to join our molecular biology group in our South San Francisco office. You will be joining a multidisciplinary team to develop novel therapeutic molecules including antibody and multi-specificity modality. The desired candidate will be working both independently and with cross-function teams.
Responsibilities
- Primer design and PCR (including site specific mutagenesis and seamless DNA assembly)
- Gel extraction and purification
- E.coli transformation and colony picking
- Plasmid prep (mini to giga scale)
- Sanger sequencing prep and analysis
- Maintain plasmid inventory and library
- Solve complex technical problems
Requirements
- BS/MS in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related fields. With 3-5years relevant experience in industry setting.
- Strong experience in molecular biology (DNA cloning, PCR, Gibson assembly, etc).
- Extensive experience with antibody and therapeutic molecule production and familiarity in high throughput cloning method is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and make contributions to multiple projects.
- Attention to detail, self-motivated, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Authorized to work legally for our company in the United States without sponsorship from employer.
