Job Description

RemeGen Biosciences is a biopharmaceutical company, focusing on the discovery and development of innovative biologics for the treatment of cancers, autoimmune and ophthalmic diseases, based in South San Francisco, California, and Rockville, Maryland. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced talent to join our molecular biology group in our South San Francisco office. You will be joining a multidisciplinary team to develop novel therapeutic molecules including antibody and multi-specificity modality. The desired candidate will be working both independently and with cross-function teams.

Responsibilities

  • Primer design and PCR (including site specific mutagenesis and seamless DNA assembly)
  • Gel extraction and purification
  • E.coli transformation and colony picking
  • Plasmid prep (mini to giga scale)
  • Sanger sequencing prep and analysis
  • Maintain plasmid inventory and library
  • Solve complex technical problems

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related fields. With 3-5years relevant experience in industry setting.
  • Strong experience in molecular biology (DNA cloning, PCR, Gibson assembly, etc).
  • Extensive experience with antibody and therapeutic molecule production and familiarity in high throughput cloning method is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and make contributions to multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail, self-motivated, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Authorized to work legally for our company in the United States without sponsorship from employer.
