The Role:

We are looking for an Account Management Associate to join our team. You will have a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced startup that is helping to solve some of the biggest challenges for the industrial workforce. In this role, you will engage prospects, schedule demos, create account plans, support Account Managers, and help source expansion opportunities with existing partners. You will partner with the Employer Success, Sales, and WorkStep Leadership to provide a world-class customer experience for our preferred partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers over the phone and email
  • Expand accounts through account mapping, planning, and developing relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Meet or exceed set Quota targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for expansion based activities for named accounts
  • Develop deep product, process, industry, and territory expertise
  • Utilizes ChiliPiper, Outreach, Chorus, ZoomInfo, and Salesforce

Requirements

  • At least 3 months of professional experience
  • Strong business acumen and comfort with presenting to, and establishing relationships with, senior level executives in enterprise-level companies
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and numeracy
  • Comfortable in a smaller rapidly evolving early stage start-up environment working remotely
  • Passion for the WorkStep mission

Preferred experience

  • Experience successfully selling or managing accounts and/or relationships
  • Experience working with (or in) our primary industries: HR, warehousing, trucking, manufacturing and production
  • Familiarity with Excel, CRMs, or other technical systems
