As a Delivery Engagement Manager, you will succeed in this role if you:
- You are not an order taker and can act independently, but are not shy to ask for help
- Are accountable for project outcomes, ensuring consistent and satisfying project delivery
- Can act as a project architect, organizing and managing all phases of a project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery
- Come from technology background (API, Agile, DevOps).
- Believe cultural and behaviorial changes are critical for improving teams of all sizes.
- Believe in continuous improvement through small, rapid, iterative change and are willing to coach teams to help them improve.
- Are comfortable at discussing low-level implementation details with your tech team, and high-level business problems with your stakeholders
Requirements
- Ability to work independently with customers to understand expectations accordingly. Will require attending meetings with senior management of the client to understand their business objectives
- Minimum 10 + years’ experience in the consulting space with at least 5 years of leading distributed delivery teams
- Ability to manage multiple engagements with global team size of 50+ people
- Proven track record of leading high performing team members
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to present solutions to both technical and executive audiences
Key Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of a particular area Agile/DevOps
- Experience in open-source tech stack Java, Mulesoft, API Connect
- Hands on experience in using JIRA amp; ideally JIRA Align for managing the entire portfolio
- Solid understanding of new modern technology trends
