Provides training, leadership and support to Employment Specialists and Job Coaches. Develops employment opportunities in the community for individuals with disabilities. Assists participants with finding job training opportunities, career and life skill trainings in order to enhance employability skills. Will oversee Job Coaches and the Supportive Employment Specialist to ensure community based job training opportunities are thoroughly maintained. They ensure participants are provided with opportunities to expand on skills necessary for competitive employment. They provide community based job training opportunities to address job modifications and/or job restructuring and to develop natural supports. They provide job, career, and life skill training to enhance employability skills. Must be able to contact, network and develop relationships with potential employers.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Special Education or related area, Valid NJ driver’s license with no more than five points; at least two years supervisory experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities; ability to supervise, manage, and direct programs.
