Job Description

Broker Account Executives are expected to maintain a professional level of expertise over product usage and customer feedback to present back to both executive and technical leadership; helping to guide and improve our product offering and services.

The Broker Account Executive will promote and sell Truckstop.com products and services to customers in Truckstop.com’s broker persona. This position will be responsible for up-selling and cross-selling to the Truckstop.com existing customer base and will also act as a trusted advisor and consultant to their set of customers. Broker Account Executives are responsible for attaining monthly revenue targets, maintaining a positive perception as the face of Truckstop in a specific geographical area, and managing a dynamic pipeline accurately. In addition, the Broker Account Executives must have a professional level of knowledge for navigating complex technical situations, and the ability to manage these projects effectively while accurately communicating expectations between integrations teams and customers.

Essential Job Functions:?

  • Prospect effectively within your geographical territory to source sales opportunities
  • Engage with existing Truckstop.com customers to cross-sell additional products and services.
  • Demo products and services virtually for customers to drive education and tailor solutions specific to a customer need.
  • Consult with customers to gather information and make product recommendations for their business.
  • Effectively manage monthly quota by selling Truckstop.com products and services through a value-based approach.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using various software platforms simultaneously to process sales and manage an accurate territory customer base.
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline, accurately forecast opportunity outcomes.
  • Report accurately on weekly productivity to provide sales summary and forecasting.
  • Must become well-informed about the industry and Truckstop.com’s products and services.
  • Exemplify Truckstop.com’s core values and behaviors.
  • Have the drive to achieve epic results; Play to Win.
  • Territory ownership: ability to manage pipeline and forecast accurately. Create and drive strategic sales initiatives to drive consistent achievement of territory quota.
  • Must be a territory expert; be able to provide critical information back to leadership in a timely format to adjust in achievement of quota. Must understand the specific trends, and seasonality that affect your territory.
  • Be able to articulate product feedback and recommendations in a professional manner.
  • Proficiency in presenting to executive and technical leader audiences.
  • Must be comfortable in understanding, explaining, and managing complex technical solutions to both internal stake holders and customers.
  • Be a dynamic team player: consistently contribute to building positive team culture and elevating teammates.
  • Professional level business acumen


Requirements

Position Requirements:?

  • College degree preferred
  • 2 years of logistics industry experience
  • 3 years of experience in carrying and attaining a sales quota
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills, including to both executive and technical audiences
  • Proficient in using multiple software applications simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and use of office equipment
  • Preferred: Experience as a broker
  • Preferred: Minimum three years' experience in software sales experience, including experience in presenting a sales demonstration to a client, especially via phone
  • Preferred: Bilingual Spanish/English
  • Must have a workspace and needed tools to support Truckstop.com work from home requirements.
