If yes, then the Associate Peer Group (APGL) Leader position is for you. In this role, you will work with your Peer Group Leader to support hundreds of members across our Peer Groups. Each Peer Group meets at least biannually in locations across the U.S. and online. Main responsibility is to support your Peer Group Director in preparing and executing meetings that take place in the Spring and Fall each year. In response to COVID, travel is currently restricted. As a result, the APGL must be able to make a virtual pivot to Zoom meetings and other strategies.

Member Community Management (40%)

  • Act as COO of Peer Group Leader’s Peer Groups: Candidate will be the primary project manager and core organizer of the portfolio for each Peer Groups’ overview presetations, existing and target members, member profiles, forward-looking scope and strategy, and other key documentation.
  • Organize ongoing schedule to maintain strong relationships with members and sponsors.
  • Onboard new members and guest members. Show new members how to access Peer Group Meeting materials and how to use their Peer Groups’ private community sites (including tools such as Slack, MS Teams and other new technological solutions.
  • Coordinate with other APGLs and NeuGroup functions to streamline operations, implement best-practices, and support firm-wide initiatives to enhance infrastructure and processes.
  • Support Peer Group Directors in setting Peer Group Meeting agendas. Collect and organize topic ideas and coordinate meetings with the Director’s member agenda committees.
  • Prepare and Distribute Meeting Materials. Draft and format meeting agendas and presentation materials from NeuGroup Research; collect and distribute materials from members, sponsors and external speakers.
  • Drive meeting attendance. Reach out to members and coordinate with Events team on RSVPs. Provide updates on guest and new member recruitment. Keep record of prospect outreach up to date in Salesforce.
  • Sponsor liaison. Manage meeting sponsors to ensure their presentations meet NeuGroup content standards for increasing member knowledge and driving discussion. Manage sponsor attendance and their guests.
  • Coordinate with the Events team on planning meeting logistics.

Pre-Meeting Preparation (30%)

Meeting Facilitation Support and Substantive Note Taking (15%)

  • Lead, and be subject matter expert for technology required to conduct meetings (host Zooms, conduct live polls, tracking and document attendance, etc.
  • Assist Peer Group Directors with select meeting facilitation and logistics.
  • Take notes on key ideas discussed at Peer Group meetings.

Post-Meeting Distillation (10%)

  • Debrief NeuGroup Insights editorial team for post-meeting reporting and digital publication.
  • Write post-meeting feedback debrief for sponsors based on survey-based member feedback.
  • Support your Director in soliciting members for quality new member referrals.
  • Hand-off referrals to sales and marketing.
