BURNCO is looking to add a skilled Dispatch Manager to our Colorado team in Milliken, Colorado. Someone who drives change and takes pride in their high-quality workmanship and their ability to get things done effectively and timely. What You Will Be doing
- Ensure dispatch team members follow proper company policies, procedures, laws, and regulations including OSHA safety and quality standards
- Report safety hazards and create safety first culture
- Hold team members accountable to behaviors and expectations, participate in hiring and onboarding process, reward and recognize team members based on achievements, coordinate on the job training and career development opportunities
- Manage dispatch department deliverables and back up if needed, includes but is not limited to:
- Maximize resources by scheduling truck assets efficiently and effectively
- Confirm appropriate routes to job sites and assist drivers with directions
- Send tickets to plants for trucks to delivery to jobs, ensure proper invoicing
- Ensure plant personnel (Drivers and/or Foreman) are aware of order requests or changes such as:
- Special additives (fiber, color, DCI, etc.)
- Special material
- Notify Foreman of volume changes for accurate inventory management of gravel, cement, additives, etc.
- Manage employee work schedules including wash outs and Saturday work rotation
- Coordinate jobs efficiently to control high overtime
- Monitor truck routes to ensure proper service and movement of delivery equipment
- Respond to public calls, follow up on customer complaints and support sales concerns
- Complete required paperwork and reports, maintain relevant systems with data changes
- Other duties as assigned

What We Would Like from You
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Understanding of operational best practices and methodologies
- Good organization and time management skills, can manage multiple, competing priorities
- Effective communication and conflict resolution skills, ability to motivate others, ability to manage change
- Knowledge of Command software and intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or a combination of experience and education
- 5+ years of related industry experience, strong understanding of ready-mix business model and product knowledge
- Experience leading teams and managing others to organizational objectives
- American Concrete Institute (ACI) Certification preferred

Bonus Eligibility: 10% of base salary potential in the Short-Term Incentive Program (STIP)
Rate or Range: $75,000-$90,000 commensurate with experience
