OPPORTUNITY

The Recruitment Manager will join our eleven person, highly collaborative recruitment team. They are responsible for ensuring a strong pipeline of potential candidates for all Edgility clients through indirect and direct candidate sourcing, sourcing channel optimization, and proactive development of talent pools. This individual will lead candidate and client interactions for a portfolio of recruitment engagements. They will also be a key contributor to the Edgility recruitment team, with the opportunity to engage in special projects and initiatives related to the improvement of our recruitment practices.

The ideal candidate has a passion for improving educational and life outcomes for all students, an understanding of high-quality client service delivery, and a desire to leverage their outreach and project management skills to help our Search Leads identify diverse pools of highly-qualified candidates for their searches. This person is a focused self-starter who is comfortable working independently. This position is remote though preference will be given to candidates located in the New York City metro region.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Recruitment Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Design and implement the sourcing strategy for building talent pools to meet clients’ requirements and Edgility’s recruitment team goals;
  • Ensure the development and optimization of a broad range of sourcing channels that will improve the quantity and quality of talent for Edgility-sourced roles;
  • Communicate with candidates, ensuring a high-quality and seamless candidate experience throughout the full recruitment cycle;
  • Screen and interview candidates to advance the most promising individuals to the next stage(s) in the hiring process;
  • Organize and manage candidate selection processes internally, including maintaining accurate and up to date records of candidate materials, communications, and all outreach efforts;
  • Create supporting search materials including job promotional materials, selection process tools, and client collaboration tools;
  • Contribute to special projects and firmwide initiatives.

PRIORITIES

A successful first year in this role for the new Recruitment Manager will include:

  • Seamless and efficient support of the launch and execution of executive searches, including the development of high-quality candidate pools and effective communication with candidates and client representatives;
  • Effective maintenance of the Edgility candidate database, LinkedIn records, and other data tools;
  • Production of consistently high-quality work products, including job descriptions, external documents, and other client-facing materials;
  • Effective sourcing for contingency projects and other shorter term recruitment engagements that lead to placements.

Requirements

In order to fulfill these responsibilities, the ideal Recruitment Manager candidate will be:

  • A professional with a minimum of 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in a recruiting function in the field of education or nonprofit management;
  • Detail oriented and organized; able to balance strong project management skills with the ability to see the big picture industry trends and recommend process improvements when needed;
  • An excellent communicator, able to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients, candidates and partners;
  • Culturally competent and self-reflective,
