Responsibilities
Clearing
- T+0 trade validation w/counterparty, executing platform, exchange, CCP
- Communicate breaks with our traders and other staff
- Escalate ‘high risk’ breaks to management and other team members
- Maintain back office software and reference data
Settlements
- Settlement exception management
- Work with Prime Brokers, FCMs, Custody banks and Counterparties to resolve all trade break
- Communicate with appropriate internal parties of issues and their resolution
- Facilitate money movements
- External and internal wire transfers
- Handling payables and receivables related to our operation
- Participate in cash management estimates and actual cash flows analysis and reporting
- Perform end of day reconciliations
- Participate in system enhancing planning and testing
Other Tasks
- Participate in periodic audits
- Monthly TMPG Fails claim processing
- Participate and collaborate with other departments in process improvement projects
- Any other task asked of by the team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or applicable experience required
- Exceptionally strong attention to detail
- Highly organized individual
- Accounting background
- Takes great satisfaction in completing tasks
- Problem solving ability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Can adapt well to changing processes and initiatives
- Craves the opportunity to expand their experiences and responsibilities to enhance their career
- Proficient in Microsoft Office ( Excel)
- SQL, Python amp; VBA skills a plus
