BURNCO is looking to add a skilled Haul Truck Operator to our Colorado team in Milliken, Colorado. Someone who drives change and takes pride in their high-quality workmanship and their ability to get things done effectively and timely. Requirements

What You Will Be doing

  • Operate heavy equipment such as loader and excavator to dig pits
  • Load aggregate material onto haul trucks
  • Manage fuel and oil inventory for equipment, maintain tanks daily
  • Perform routine inspections on equipment, complete minor equipment maintenance, submit work orders as needed
  • Utilize various hand tools as needed to complete daily job requirements
  • Help maintain a hazard free work environment by assisting in housekeeping and maintenance duties
  • Work with team members to complete operational priorities of the day, cross train in other job positions as needed
  • Keep current on safety inspections such as MSHA regulations and BURNCO safety policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Reality of the Job

  • If applicable You might work long hours during peak times
  • You will work most Saturdays, especially during peak season

What We Would Like from You

  • Broad knowledge of operating heavy equipment
  • Ability to use power tools, welders, cutting torches/chains and various safety devices
  • Self motivated and able to work effectively in small teams
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills
  • Ability to work 12 hour shifts and weekends
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Experience working in aggregate industry a plus
  • Experience operating heavy equipment in a plant environment preferred

Bonus Eligibility: Hour Bank Accrual
