Olive is looking for a Senior Organizational Effectiveness Specialist to join our People team. You'll be among the first hires reporting to the Director of Organizational Effectiveness as we build this critical internal consulting function at Olive.

This role will partner closely with Olive leaders and teams to identify and address root-cause obstacles to effective working; keep us aligned and focused on our highest priorities; and bring out the best in our employees. Responsibilities:

  • Scope and manage a dynamic portfolio of complex, mid-to-large-scale organizational effectiveness initiatives
    • Develop project plans to document key objectives, activities, timelines, and roles/responsibilities
    • Manage projects to ensure progress to forecasted milestones
    • Coordinate, facilitate, and/or manage cross-functional workgroups to execute initiatives
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and partner for employees and team members - leveraging subject matter expertise and consultative skills - to identify needs, develop recommendations, and implement evidence-based solutions
    • Gather and assess information to identify root-cause obstacles to effective working
    • Identify and craft solutions within a rapidly growing and fast-moving environment
    • Test and implement solutions with a change management lens
  • Innovate, develop, improve, and reinforce strategies/structures/processes to create alignment across Olive. Areas of focus may include:
    • Strategy (ex. clarity of purpose, measuring our collective progress)
    • Structure (ex. how we’re organized, role definition and accountabilities)
    • Processes (ex. how work flows between roles, decision making processes)
    • Metrics/Rewards (ex. what goals amp; measures we’re aspiring to)
    • People practices (ex. how we’re training and onboarding people)
    • Culture (ex. helping teams work through obstacles/conflict)
  • Support the advancement of organizational effectiveness as a function at Olive
    • Help develop and deliver our team's organizational effectiveness methodologies
    • Help grow and nurture key principles of organizational effectiveness throughout the organization (ex. change management, organizational design, design thinking)
  • Measure outcomes to demonstrate the link between organizational effectiveness initiatives and desired business outcomes

Requirements

  • 6+ years of related experience in organizational effectiveness, organizational development, organizational design, talent strategy, and/or change management
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying organizational development theories, philosophies amp; methods to business challenges
  • Strong project and portfolio management skills (identifying and scoping projects; documenting key objectives, activities, timelines, and RACI; facilitating a team’s forward movement to achieve project objectives)
  • Strong consulting skills (quickly establishing trust and credibility, assessing opportunities, identifying patterns, facilitating, communicating effectively, etc.)
