about the studio manager role:

The soona Studio Manager leads and manages the studio team - they also produce all pro-service shoots and VIP customers. This role reports to the Director of Revenue.

As the leader of one of our studios, the Studio Manager has a direct ability to impact the soona process - from staff management, to pre-production, upselling during shoots, and post shoot sales. This role works closely with the customer success team to ensure our studio production staff has all the information they need to successfully execute each shoot.

Requirements

the ideal candidate can:

• lead and manage the in-studio team
• oversee day-to-day operations
• assist in sales by working with studio staff to exceed revenue goals
• work with our customer success team to ensure our clients are satisfied
• Provide ongoing support to the studio staff
  • ensure studio staff have the proper items needed for shoot
  • ensure studio staff is adhering to all best practices and are prepared for every shoot
  • quality control on shoots
• focus on building sales and forecasting future performance
• strategic planning for studio sales
  • provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors, quality control complaints)
• remain accountable for all profit and loss figures
• report on key metrics (including but not limited to)
  • report on total revenue numbers and studio profitability
  • repeat customer rate
  • lookbacks on missed revenue opportunities
• work with sales and marketing team to drive local business
