We’re on the lookout for a talented Investment Writer / Editor to join our team on a contract part-time basis!

Summary
We produce a large number of articles that provide fundamental analysis on company’s from all over the world. Our goal is to help investors make better informed decisions, so we want someone to help us produce our content and make it stand out!
We’re looking for someone with investment experience, who’s a long-term investor at heart and knows what’s important to look for when analysing a stock. If you’re passionate about investing and writing, we’d love to hear from you!
About You
- You're an excellent writer, able to explain complex ideas in articulate and entertaining language.
- You are obsessed with the stock market and learning about new companies
- You are able to process information and write quickly.
- You are able to look at a stock and quickly understand its business model, its financials and what the current market narrative around it is
- You know your way around a company's income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows.
- You know what factors give a company a competitive advantage
- You are keen to help other investors on their journey to become better investors
- You are willing to do short video summaries on stocks (Like these!)
- You have an active portfolio of stocks
- You can work to a deadline and within time-constraints
Requirements
- Experience investing in the US stock market
- Experience in writing is expected (having an online presence is even better!)
- Experience in analysing a company’s financial statements
- Please provide examples of previous written work you’ve done (blog, articles, etc)
- Please provide an example of 1 stock you own and why.
