ALTIVIA is seeking an experienced Account Manager that will be responsible for the geographic sales coverage for the Southern US Region and Latin America of the company’s Petrochemical, Acetone, Phenol, Ketones and Carbinols portfolio. This position will be accountable for managing key customer relationships, business development, sales and margin performance, maintenance of customer forecasts, and other sales related activities. The role will be located in Houston.
Responsibilities:
- Leads, develops customer strategy and relationships, including contract management and negotiation
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Coordinate day to day interaction with functional teams to support the customer needs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 to 7 years in commercial sales role, or sales management capacity
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to build entrusting relationships
- Comfortable speaking and presenting in front of peers
- Diligent planning and follow up skills
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
- Solvent experience in the Chemical industry is a plus
- Bi Lingual- Spanish Preferred
- Domestic and International Travel will be required.
