Job Description

Reporting to the VP Human Resources, the U.S. Recruiting Manager is responsible for planning and forecasting workforce needs, developing an innovative world-class talent strategy to attract the Best and Brightest to the JOEY Restaurant Group, and meeting monthly recruiting objectives. With experience in social recruiting, online presence management, and talent analytics, this role will ensure the employee value proposition boldly reaches and attracts top talent and high potential in all roles including Chefs and Front of House Leaders. The Recruiting Manager is deeply passionate about the candidate experience, social recruiting, and recruiting operations, as they know every candidate is a prospective guest, just as every guest is a prospective candidate.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Workforce Planning

  • Work in conjunction with the Employment Brand Manager and with Operations executives to develop a holistic workforce planning strategy to forecast organizational talent needs, budgets and resources needed

Recruiting amp; Talent Attraction Strategy

  • Develop an innovative, world-class talent strategy while building the employer brand and positioning the JOEY Restaurant Group as a world-class organization and top employer.
  • Lead, develop and execute all talent communication strategies and technology enhancements.
  • Construct industry leading talent marketing ad copy, while testing the effectiveness using an AB testing model to monitor regional receptiveness.
  • Execute and track talent marketing campaigns through select channels to drive candidate volume.
  • Manage all external job boards
  • Design and implement cutting edge candidate processing techniques such as group interviews, to facilitate volume processing.
  • Engineer and implement effective plans and strategies for all new restaurant openings in the US.
  • Ensure the in-market operations team is organized and efficient with daily practices including; the management of all online applications, interview procedures and training, job postings, as well as ongoing talent sourcing and pipelining.
  • Maintain knowledge of the industry best practices, emerging trends, technological advancements and benchmark comparisons to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
  • Lead, develop and execute all talent communication strategies and technology enhancements.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly recruiting goals.

Education/Experience

  • 3-5 Years’ Experience in Recruiting. Hospitality Recruiting experience preferred.
  • Experience in Workforce planning
  • Ability to develop and articulate global recruitment and talent marketing strategies.
  • In depth knowledge of recruiting practices, metrics, assessment tools and techniques
  • Experience in all social media platforms and various recruiting platforms
  • Successful track record in building and maintaining relationships both internally and externally
  • Experience within the hospitality industry considered a significant asset
  • Experience using data analytics tools
