The Role

BCW is seeking a Project Manager to join their Financial Risk and Controls team. The position will report to the Global Head of Controls and Oversight and can be based in any of BCW’s US office locations. This global role is critical within the BCW network of operating companies to achieve the following goals:

  • Support and assist the Global Head of Risk amp; Controls
  • Support the Risk amp; Controls team to drive continuous controls improvement and establish processes and controls under the comprehensive WPP Risk amp; Controls framework by:

o Facilitating the sharing of resources, methodologies, tools and techniques

o Providing a central repository for all projects and project information

o Providing project portfolio reporting capabilities

o Outlining a well-defined project management process or methodology

Responsibilities:

  • Global maintenance of Planning File and Masterfile of all BCW subsidiaries
  • Mapping
  • Microsoft Teams
  • WPP SharePoint
  • Related Party/CoC/Gift Register/Self Certs
  • Maintain Shared Team Calendar
  • Miscellaneous
  • Collate, organize amp; amend for updates provided by global team members
  • Update for audit gradings provided by head office
  • Maintain/track current status of reviews audit scheduling, meetings, milestones, deliverables, etc.
  • Working with the Ramp;C team and regional finance teams on changes to units, personnel, and Cartesis codes
  • Quarterly reporting and mapping
  • Manage the Teams channels and folders for the team
  • Responsible for the portal/interface with head office (IA, Ramp;C, etc)
  • Download, formatting, and distribution of reports from head office to Ramp;C team
  • Ad hoc reporting
  • Coordination, distribution, and collection of the Related Party and the Certificate of Compliance form and Self Certification Forms
  • Creation, modification, and support of Gift Register site users
  • Maintain the user guide and provide user support.
  • Technical Administrator for site maintenance amp; development.
  • New Hire Onboard training
  • Logistics for meetings
  • Troubleshoot IT issues for the team
  • Ad hoc projects

Qualifications amp; Experience:

  • Organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task amp; prioritize
  • 3+ years of experience with internal controls, internal/external auditing, or Public Accounting.
  • Project Management experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, GAAP, GAAS, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting preferred.
  • Ability to work with a global team.
  • Ability to work remotely.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft office products
