What your day will look like:
  • Assist USA sellers with the administrative part of the onboarding process of new channel partners, preparing, managing, compiling, tracking of all necessary documentation including applications, contracts and CRM account management
  • Vet prospective USA channel partner leads, manage the process of connecting them to the appropriate sellers, and help define our mutual business objectives and sales pipeline
  • Identify gaps in our onboarding process and help to implement improvements to streamline the process
  • Manage the onboarding deadline for in progress USA channel partner accounts to accelerate the timeline for them to achieve Certified status in the Channel Partner Program
  • Prepare quarterly onboarding reports to measure key performance metrics and with an analysis of territory development factors, e.g., channel efficiency, productivity, density, and velocity of sales
  • Facilitate the sales process by working across Genetec teams to resolve USA channel partner escalations and handle general requests outside of the daily activity and support provided by sellers, and act as the point of contact for target accounts
  • Become a subject matter expert on the region and the Genetec Channel Partner Program’s requirements and benefits, and support the partner lifecycle process (promotions, demotions and terminations)
  • Manage merger and acquisition account projects and design a process to hand off to finance and legal
  • Assist sellers with data analysis for annual performance reviews of channel partner accounts as defined by Regional Sales Director and National Director per territory, using PowerBI dashboard reporting
  • Assist sellers to identity prospective channel partners based on pre-determined criteria by performing online research on limited regional projects defined by Regional Sales Director and National Director
  • Be a conduit for channel partner and field feedback and use it to improve programs and to help ensure long-term account retention
About you:
  • 3+ years in channel management or B2B sales with channel/indirect sales model
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Organized, analytical, detailed and process-oriented
  • Ability to work with a minimum of direction and supervision to be able to translate broad directives into useful tactics and meaningful activities
  • Ability to work cross functionally and build relationships across teams and organizations
  • Project management and reporting skills with demonstrated examples of end-to-end ownership and delivery of projects
  • Acumen for understanding of complex technology systems
  • Excellent communication skills; able to articulate clearly and effectively in person, over the phone and in writing; strong presentation skills
  • Working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in business automation systems, i.e. Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
  • IT and/or IP Security industry background a plus, but not required
  • Ability to travel up to 10% (post-pandemic)
