UI / UX Designer - Always Remote

Job Description
AutoRentals is in a period of hyper-growth! The pandemic changed travel and as a result, AutoRentals is evolving as well. We are introducing brand new initiatives that will take us to a scale many times beyond where we are today. In order to meet our goals, we need to bring on some talented and ambitious individuals who possess a keen desire to build, and a drive to succeed. Our UI/UX Designer is one of these essential roles we're looking to fill ASAP! As our extremely talented and creative UI/UX Designer, you will own delivery of the online user experience, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Responsibilities:
- Own all front end, web and mobile UX and UI
- Manage design iteration cycles, versioning, and the general design workflow
- Create design recommendations and defend those decisions
- Collaborate with product management, and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience
- Create prototypes, wireframes, storyboards, personas, and user flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Work hand in hand with the conversion rate optimization team by taking a test and learn, fail fast approach.
- Conduct ongoing user research
Requirements
- 3+ years of UI/UX design experience
- Proficiency with Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Extensive knowledge of prototyping tools like Invision, Marvel, Principle, Origami
- Experience with HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Experience working closely with engineers to develop and iterate on interactive software experiences
- Experience designing for a variety of screen sizes and platforms: for fully responsive web experiences and/or for mobile (touch-device) apps
- Experience in prototyping UI interactivity and in incorporating motion/animation into UI
- Solid understanding of UX and UI design best practices, specifically with e-commerce and SaaS applications, as well as mobile and responsive design
