Job Description
Are you looking for a rewarding and FUN way to spend your summer working in the community with children?
We are seeking staff to join our team for the summer, with the potential to continue on permanently! If you are upbeat, passionate and energetic, we want you! RBTs preferred but we will provide training at no cost for the right candidates!
What is Summer Club?
You will work 1:1 with children diagnosed with Autism and/or other developmental disabilities in a community-based day program. You will help our kiddos build social and community safety skills.
Some examples of locations we will visit (dependent on COVID amp; CDC regulations):
- The Sheridan Creativity Lab
- Children's Museum of Denver
- Splash at Fossil Trace water park
- Denver Botanic Gardens
- Elitch Gardens Amusement Park
- Colorado Railroad Museum
Required Dates/ Times of Summer Club:
- Dates: June 7th - July 2nd and July 12th - August 6th
- Time: 8:30am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday starting and ending at our Aurora office location
Mandatory Training Dates:
- June 1st- June 3rd, 8:30am-2:30pm each day
RBT Training Deadlines:
Deadline staff have to be done with the 40 hour RBT training:
- Friday, May 14th
Deadline to complete comps:
- Friday, May 28th
Deadline to have RBT certification:
- Friday, June 4th
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in counseling, social work, or other related fields preferred but not required
- Experience in conflict resolution
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to lift 40lbs, with the potential to run, squat, sit, stand, kneel and more
Salary Range
$15-25/hour

- Ability to work cooperatively as a therapy team member, and work independently
- Abide by the RBT ethics code
- Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Clean background and positive reference checks
