SOCIAL HOSTS:
Our Virtual Social Hosts (Hosts) bring the vibe! No boring or awkward Zoom happy hours here. Our Hosts ensure each event goes over without a hitch and that groups have a great time. In the Happied signature style, our Hosts keep guests talking, dancing, laughing and more.
The Host is responsible for leading the event and managing all virtual platform logistics. For each event the Host is paired with an instructor who teaches the food or drink activity (i.e. mixology, sushi making, bubble tea), and the Host’s sole job is to make sure the group has fun. Hosts lead the group from one activity to the next and bring an upbeat, enthusiastic attitude. The Host introduces the event’s instructor, plays music, spotlights exciting things happening on screen, and more. They are personable and can quickly bond with whoever is on the event, making everyone on the event feel comfortable. The Host is professional, but not uptight, and guides the entire Happied experience.

Requirements
A successful candidate for this position will be someone very personable and energetic. Bring the theatrics and big personalities! They must be able to maintain a high level of enthusiasm for the duration of the hour to hour and a half long event and should be familiar with Zoom. No prior virtual hosting experience is required, but public speaking or acting experience is preferred. Please note this is a very competitive position and those who make it to the next round will be required to do a mock hosting with our internal team.
