Matternet is hiring a seasoned marketing professional to oversee and execute B2B marketing activities globally supporting the company’s sales growth and awareness objectives. You will work closely with Sales and Business Development to prioritize your efforts and deliverables.
Your capabilities stretch well beyond the tried and true B2B marketing tactics as you have years of hands-on experience in the art of content marketing, social media and thought leadership. You are a data-driven self-starter who embraces a test, measure and learn approach to break through clutter and gain mindshare. You thrive in white space, have seemingly endless doses of creativity, resourcefulness and determination, and are highly skilled at juggling multiple projects simultaneously. You would embrace the challenge of writing and evolving the marketing playbook from the ground up. You will
- Manage Matternet’s B2B marketing budget, optimizing spend by measuring performance against defined objectives.
- Create, maintain and execute Matternet’s marketing calendar, consisting of lead gen, lead nurturing, content marketing, and thought leadership activities.
- In collaboration with Matternet’s PR consultant, plan and run webinars and social media campaigns; source and schedule event speaking engagements and executive interviews; and write and place thought leadership pieces, such as byline articles and ebooks.
- In collaboration with Sales and BD, draft sales materials, with a lens for repurposing content across other marketing channels.
- Work with CEO, Sales and BD to hone the voice of the Matternet brand towards various external stakeholders, including the investment community, target partners and customers, and prospective employees, etc.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or similar
- 8+ years professional experience in B2B Marketing, including demand gen, marcomm, PR, and social/content marketing
- Stellar analytical, quantitative communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a high-growth startup environment, adept at assessing priorities, managing time effectively, and remaining cool in high-stress situations
- Embraces diverse cultures throughout the world
- Mission-driven and motivated by helping people live healthier and happier lives
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and other analytics packages, web/marketing analytics, CRM and marketing automation software and best practices, and social media platforms
- Adept at creating summary reports of marketing performance and presenting to Matternet leadership
