Using neuroscience-based assessments and machine learning algorithms, pymetrics is revolutionizing the recruiting industry by matching candidates to jobs where they are most likely to succeed. We are leading the charge in an evolving industry and growing our amazing team to support the mission of using data to unleash one's full potential.
We are looking for a Junior IO Analyst with basic analytics and statistics experience to join our Analytics team. This position plays an essential role in ensuring pymetrics consistently delivers fair, effective, and compliant products to our global client base. You would be responsible for conducting analyses that support our compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines. Your work would include conducting analytics studies for business impact and algorithmic fairness, as well as exploratory investigations on the impact of new products and tools.
You will play a key role in a broad and cross-functional effort focused on telling compelling client stories with data. Your day to day will include collaborating with internal experts from various teams including Industrial Organizational (IO) Psychology, Data Science, and Professional services to develop analyses and reports using existing tools. You’ll work with IO psychologists and client success managers to understand client data and perform rigorous analyses and data queries. You’ll prepare presentation-ready data visualizations, slide decks, and reports using open source python and R packages, supported by in-house software development. Along with your teammates, you’ll learn the design and uses of pymetrics’ products and execute analyses aligned with the best analytic strategies for demonstrating pymetrics’ value given various client use cases.
In your primary role as an in-house resource for data analysis and statistical programming you will at first leverage existing analytics code to generate reliable and well-documented analyses in support of both validity and fairness analyses, and will expand over time to improve and guide our roadmap for supporting the entire pymetrics assessment.
