Job Description
Outdoorsy is looking for an Insurance Service Agent to join our Insurance team. If you’re passionate about the outdoors and would like to work in a fast-paced environment, then we want you! Job Summary:
You will be the core source to educate our community on RV insurance and help them purchase the right coverages to meet their needs. You will advocate internally to influence our product decisions, roadmap, and help us ensure that we provide the best experience possible. As an Insurance Service Agent, you will be one of the frontline heroes for our adventurous community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide world-class experiences by interacting with insurance customers via phone and email to provide a proactive solution to their most important concerns
- Work schedule: 9 am- 6 pm Monday - Friday
- Use your product expertise to collaborate with and help other teams maintain a high level of customer service at all times
- Create and maintain helpful documentation to be used by our Roamly team
- As the voice of the Outdoorsy/Roamly brand, you will help build up our reputation with your insatiable and addictively friendly personality

Qualifications:
- Current TX Property amp; Casualty Agent License
- 1-2 years experience in quoting and servicing multiple insurance carriers and products (Auto, Home, RV, and Motorcycle)
- Stay abreast of our insurance partners underwriting requirements and processes
- Insurance agency experience a plus
- Familiar with web-based customer support tools like Zendesk, Slack, Kustomer, UJET, etc.
- Experience working in a fast-paced or startup environment is a plus but not required. Adaptability and patience are key.
- You are detail-oriented and an attentive learner. You are highly observant and are able to pick up on minor details or changes that others oven overlook
- Great written communication skills: You should LOVE writing to and speaking with customers (or people in general!)
- Empathy is crucial. You should possess the skill to make people smile no matter what circumstances they present nor what issues they are needing assistance with
- Pressure makes you perform at a high level and you can handle stress well. Conflict resolution skills and a personality that thrives in a fast-paced environment is highly recommended
