Job Description

We’re looking for passionate, entrepreneurial individuals with proven success in software sales to help us grow our business. Our product, SurveyCTO, is a mobile data collection platform used by thousands of teams across 165 countries. This position offers the opportunity to grow our global user base and increase our impact around the world.

Candidates with a successful track record in enterprise sales along with an interest in implementing a sales strategy within a newly formed team are encouraged to apply.

This role will report directly to the Director of Sales. For the right candidate, this is a unique opportunity to develop professionally as our company and sales team grows.

This position is full-time. It can be a fully-remote position open to candidates from nearly any location, reporting to the NYC office.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Create, qualify, and manage an enterprise lead pipeline of new accounts
  • Foster relationships with accounts, move them through the pipeline efficiently, and forecast sales to achieve sales targets
  • Successfully implement the sales strategy for target marketsincluding sales audio/video calls, emails, demos, thought leadership opportunities, and speaking opportunitiesto achieve goals
  • Research markets, organizations, and accounts across relevant industries
  • Actively manage the process to document and communicate learning from all sales activities and make suggestions for continued improvement
  • Network with prospective users and industry experts to drive brand awareness and deepen your understanding of the market

Ideal candidate profile:

  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • Proven success finding leads, fostering relationships, and closing enterprise sales
  • Tech-savvy and high-level of comfort learning new softwares, platforms, and sales tech
  • Exceptional analytical ability to draw insights and drive business priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated individual with a proclivity for creative problem solving
  • Ability to own and manage multiple projects from assignment to delivery
  • Fast learner, able to both independently problem-solve and work collaboratively
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Preference for working in a fast-paced start-up environment and being part of a fun, energetic team

About the product:

SurveyCTO is the most reliable, secure, and scalable mobile data collection platform for researchers and professionals working in offline settings. It can be used online or offline, on the web, tablets, or mobile phones. Traditionally and often, SurveyCTO is used by surveyors in the field to perform guided interviews with survey respondents, also known as Computer-Assisted Personal Interviews (CAPI). Since the COVID-19 global pandemic has made in-person interviewing and direct observation less safe, SurveyCTO is also being used for phone surveying, or Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviews (CATI). The platform protects against fraud by recording how long surveys take, audio recording when suspicious behavior is flagged, and employing statistical algorithms to look for anomalies in the data. It’s also an extraordinarily flexible platform that allows for advanced survey logic, pre-loading existing data into survey questions, and automatically merging incoming data into back-office applications like Excel.
