This is a full-time, ongoing, work-from-home position. You can be located anywhere in the Pacific Northwest (Washington or Oregon) area of the United States.
We’re searching for a winsome personality and convincing professional to join our team as a Sales Development Representative. Your primary responsibility will be prospecting new clients, investigating and qualifying incoming contacts, and conducting targeted prospecting. What you’ll do:
Reporting to our Sales Director and working closely with the marketing and sales teams, you’ll be a key participant in sales development activities at IVOXY, and initially the only person in this role, with primary responsibility for the following:
- Event Promotion and Expansion: Drive qualified attendees to IVOXY seminars, online education, conferences, and forums.
- Existing Customer Expansion: Investigate opportunities at assigned existing customer accounts to identify mutual objectives using a consultative approach.
- Prospecting: Prospect into target accounts to find new opportunities.
- Communication and Coordination: Communicate information about calls accurately and effectively to management and customers.
- Lead/Demand Generation: Work with sales and marketing to develop, plan, and execute lead/demand generation campaigns and prospecting events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- At least one year of sales experience, preferably in IT technology (i.e., servers, storage, networking, software).
- General knowledge of the IT industry, with the capacity to learn about individual systems and products quickly, accurately, and at a level sufficient for marketing purposes.
- Ability to identify and qualify the key aspects of a potential lead, including need, budget, timeframe, and decision maker.
- Strong team player, highly motivated, and a self-starter.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, excellent listening skills, and a positive attitude toward customers and co-workers.
