The Opportunity

JUST Capital is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Engagement on the Corporate Engagement team who will report to the head of corporate engagement and work closely with the programs team and the Chief Strategy Officer to continue to grow our network of corporate contacts as well as manage existing relationships.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day functions of all corporate engagement around our core audience of companies - those in the Russell 1000 index. This work will include coordinating communications and outreach on their ESG data, JUST Capital programs, creation and performance of the annual Rankings, event strategy and execution, and ideation on new products.
  • Serve as the main point of contact with company representatives across operations around JUST Capital’s work and research, both through proactive outreach and responsiveness over email, phone, and at events.
  • Oversee corporate engagement amp; cross-team collaboration during the annual data review period, creating a positive experience for companies and sharing insights from corporate conversations with the full JUST Capital team.
  • Develop articles, benchmarking tools, and other resources for companies to improve ESG practices, and initiate partnership with corporations.
  • Proactively seek and create opportunities to partner with companies through events, thought leadership, and performance analysis.

Requirements

  • A commitment to and passion for the JUST Capital mission.
  • 6+ years work experience in companies with corporate responsibility, marketing, etc, agencies, nonprofit, philanthropy, or government.
  • Fearlessness in outreach and engagement with companies, and a strong appetite to develop new relationships.
  • Exceptional at fostering strong external relationships and experience representing an organization to external stakeholders.
  • Expertise in corporate practices, policies, and programs.
  • Proven project management and multitasking abilities while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong, persuasive writing and communication skills, including an ability to articulate progress, define and overcome challenges, and provide recommendations in completing projects on time and within budget.
