Job Description

The Role:

Under the guidance of the Regional Education Manager, the Area Trainer delivers the core educational initiatives to their region to support the business needs and the marriage of art and commerce. The Area Trainer helps to develop, instruct, educate and demonstrate the Charlotte Tilbury core values, makeup artistry, product knowledge, and the M.A.G.I.C. service experience. The Area Trainer leads and executes all retail events both in store and digitally.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to Education amp; Events Manager

Responsibilities:

Educational amp; Commercial Objectives

  • Owns education strategy, sales partnership and follow up for assigned market.
  • Identifies and communicates training needs and action plan to the regional teams.
  • Leads various developmental trainings for the field (e.g. new hire trainings (Start of a Dream,) new store opening trainings, seasonal schools, amp; quarterly workshops)
  • Oversees CT Express training platform and delivers train the trainer for field sales team.
  • Participates is branded social media engagement and weekly ownership of team social page.
  • Owns the rollout and execution of Learning Management System in their market.
  • Provides post-training tool kit for all stores and sales partners.
  • Organizes and adheres to quarterly schedule that supports the needs of the business.
  • Conduct in store support to develop the M.A.G.I.C service/selling skills, artistry and product knowledge with the Charlotte Tilbury staff.
  • Attends and Participates in Quarterly Strat meetings with Education amp; Sales team partners.
  • Leads by example in the execution of all KPIs, service, sales, professionalism and personal image.
  • Supports amp; drives omni-channel strategy in store and online to achieve sales plan.

Events

  • Supports strategic planning amp; execution of events with a pre amp; post event action plan around
  • Act as a support or, at times, lead facilitator of events both in-person and virtually.
  • Provides side by side leadership and motivation on the sales floor amp; digitally with all staff to promote healthy bookings and NPD sell through.
  • Ensures strong sell through of all NPD through events while strongly leveraging all core products.

Team Development

  • Owns developmental timeline of all staff in assigned market through on-boarding, new product trainings, seasonal trainings, workshops and 1 on 1 development.
  • Ensure staff delivers consistent, excellent service in accordance with the Charlotte Tilbury MAGIC service standards.
  • Observe and provide collaborative, hands on feedback to teams on makeup ability, service and selling skills - ensure this feedback is productively used and shared with sales partners.
  • Oversee and conduct Skill Certifications in a timely manner for all Charlotte Tilbury employees prioritized by door volume (on pause until further notice.)
  • Ensures that all sales partners are trained on CT Express tools and new product in a timely manner for in store visits.
  • Evaluates and seeks feedback on education and artistry training needs of the SAE amp; SAC team members and organizes both in person and digital training plans to support their development.
  • AT to partner with Sales partners for monthly counter manager and freelancer meetings with a focus on NPD, Hero Skus, MAGIC Service, and Core Training objectives.

Financial Accountabilities

  • Ensure the timely submission and accuracy of company credit card expenses, expense reports and company-owned asset forms.
  • Responsibility in reporting and maintaining personal and training budget within fiscal year.


Requirements

The Person:

  • Proven exceptional ability in the Charlotte Tilbury artistry amp; MAGIC service technique
  • Organizational skills, customer service, public speaking skills
  • Social Media savvy and engagement in digital facilitation
  • Ability to create and manage short and long term business strategy in region.
  • An ability to lead and provide guidance to a set team will managing multiple priorities.
  • A proven history in adult learning and instructional training.
  • Working knowledge of basic Microsoft programs: Outlook, Powerpoint, Word, Excel.
