Firefly operates a network of Internet-connected digital screens on taxis and rideshares in the most impactful markets in the US; thereby serving location and time-dependent advertising and content for brands such as Coca-Cola, Salesforce, Adidas, United Airlines, and many others.
We're looking for an exceptional Sales Engineering Manager to lead and grow our sales engineering organization. The role reports into Product and you will initially start as an individual contributor and then grow the team as our sales increase. You will align closely with Sales, product management, and engineering to help close deals and execute strategic solutions for customers and partners. We need a seasoned pre-sales leader with a proven track record growing a sales engineering organization.
You are a pre-sales superstar, technical but with great customer skills and know how to successfully work as a trusted advisor to ensure the success of prospects and customers. Main Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and support response to requests for proposals (RFPs), i.e. present recommendations and associated benefits to customers
  • Work with the customers to identify requirements for lift measurements (site visit, store visit, app download, online sale, offline sale, brand survey) from each of them
  • Follow campaigns and provide updates to the customers on progress of their campaigns
  • Present the results of campaigns and work with the sales team to continuously grow the accounts
  • Refine and scale the core sales engineering processes such as discovery, technical qualification and proof-of-concept
  • Develop solutions and customer proposals
  • Develop and deliver product and solution demonstrations including presentation templates that ensure brand consistency
  • Work with sales leadership and customers to design, create and present business solutions to increase client revenue growth
  • Drive the development of account plans for larger customers
  • Once sales increase, recruit, mentor, and develop the enterprise class sales engineering team
  • Promote products and business solutions at conferences, forums, and seminars
  • Participate in regional industry events/organizations as a thought leader
  • Collaborate with a variety of internal functional areas to ensure solutions are implemented and supported in-line with client expectations
  • Provide input on product development or enhancements to existing products to product management functions
Background
  • Strong background in advertising measurement, data, analytics and marketing KPIs
  • A strong understanding of the OOH as well as Digital Marketing/Advertising solutions - Tag management solutions, DMPs, DSPs, and programmatic systems.
  • Ability to analyze data and summarize results in a visually compelling way and an innate ability to extract stories from data.
  • Experience in a large agency supporting sales activities is a huge plus
