Voice Technical Operator

Aetos Systems is looking for a Voice Technical Operator to joining an amazing team at Goddard Space Flight Center. This right applicant will be responsible for:

• Manage, operate, configure, and troubleshoot voice systems, including but not limited to, designated switching and conferencing systems used to provide voice service in the form of digital switching and conferencing.
• Establish, maintain, and monitor voice conferences.
• Provide fault isolation, restoration, testing, and monitoring, including detection of circuit degradation, of all voice circuits terminated in the voice switching and conferencing systems.
• This is a represented position. Employees who are offer this position are required to join the Communications Workers of America, AFL-CIO, Local 230 Union upon acceptance of offer of employment.

Requirements

Minimum Education/Specialized Certification Requirements:

• High School or equivalent
• 3 years of relevant experience

Required Experience:

• Experience with voice systems, monitoring voice conferences and voice switching and conferencing systems.
• Experience supporting NASA at Goddard Space Flight Center.
• Experience with Communication Workers of America.
