Maintenance Technician Position Summary:
To maintain the day-to-day operations and to assume responsibility for maintaining the physical asset of the property under the direction of the Director of Operations.
Maintenance Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the completion of all maintenance requests as assigned.
- Schedule, coordinate and complete the Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment such as press breaks, conveyors, blaster and compressor.
- Repair or replace control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, push buttons, contractors, motor starters, etc. as needed.
- Maintain records on maintenance and repairs performed by the company and outside contractors.
- HVAC knowledge-Replace filters and clean coils.
- Participates in plant safety, health and environmental programs.
- Coordinate special projects as directed
- Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors
Maintenance Technician Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Diploma)
- AA Degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance a plus
- 4+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Maintenance Technician Other Skills and/or Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- Highly motivated
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 75 lbs. consistently with heavier weight necessary at times.
