Job Description

Note: This is not a remote position, however there is flexibility in the schedule and occasional work from home opportunities. You will be expected to be onsite majority of the time.

The Recruiter will assist in the full life cycle recruiting process and implement effective staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. You will work closely with the Recruiter in our New Hampshire facility to assist in the recruitment of non-exempt and exempt positions. You will be responsible for developing multiple sourcing channels and establishing relationships with hiring managers and staffing agencies. You will leverage our ATS (Workable) and maintain various reports to support an effective and efficient recruitment process.

Job Functions:

  • Promote Alene’s reputation as the Best Place to Work.
  • Facilitates and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Must learn, adopt, and execute the Alene interviewing process and hold others accountable for doing so.
  • Create advertising job descriptions that standout to potential candidates.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to screen applicants and select qualified candidates.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Maintains and leverages applicant tracking system for open positions.
  • Work with hiring managers on peak staffing needs and coordinate hiring efforts with staffing agencies.
  • Work with Human Resources Manager and Plant Manager to ensure alignment on open positions.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years managing all phases of the recruitment in a manufacturing environment highly preferred.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Full cycle recruiting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Dependability and confidentiality a must.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel amp; Word.
  • Temporary staffing experience a major plus.
  • Previous experience with Workable a plus
