Overview
You will be responsible for sourcing new locations, negotiating and finalizing leases, overseeing new location fit-out and construction and managing the facilities of all Gorilla’s micro fulfillment centers.
Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a team that is responsible for sourcing new locations, negotiating and finalizing leases, overseeing new location fit-out and construction and managing the facilities of all Gorilla’s micro fulfillment centers.
- Create and implement a sound Real Estate strategy that ensures hyper efficient real estate acquisition that is matched with precision fit-out and construction.
- Write the Gorilla’s Real Estate Playbook, and iterate and improve it with every new launch.
- Negotiate lease terms and conduct the financial analysis on potential locations to inform our Real Estate strategy.
- Ensure all Gorilla’s facilities are compliant with all applicable regulations.
- Manage broker and Landlord relationships as our Real Estate representative on the West Coast.
- Be responsible for multiple large-scale, high-budget projects at once.
Requirements
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in the real estate sector, ideally working in fast paced start ups. Retail scaling experience is a plus.
- 5+ years of team management experience.
- Excellent time and task management skills.
- See yourself as an entrepreneur and you are eager to take the next steps and move quickly.
- Willing to make Gorillas your mission and are ready to put hard work into making this business a success.
- Affinity for using data to make strategic decisions.
- Ability to learn fast and adapt your strategies and tactics to the dynamic world of super-fast delivery.
