About the Role

To support our ambitious growth, we are looking for passionate, commercial and ambitious individuals to help us grow ESPA as a Sales Manager. You will lead the business development in the Americas. You will be in charge of establishing a retail presence with key luxury partners for ESPA and lay the grounds of a successful retail launch. You will build and implement strong strategic business plans with each retailer and ensure profitability for the business. You will work closely with the Sales Director and VP of the Americas to align on all initiatives, new product launch strategy, visual merchandising and copy optimization. You will build strong relationships with key accounts, monitoring performances versus expected growth and report against set KPI in line with budget targets.

Location: New York City

Overnight travel: rare (less than 10%)

Starting date: ASAP

Reports to: Vice President of ESPA, Americas.

Job Responsibilities:

SALES MANAGEMENT (50%)

You will be the main point of contact for national accounts including only luxury beauty players, department stores (Saks, Neiman Marcus, etc.) and online pure players (Net A Porter, Dermstore, B-Glowing, etc.)

  • Identifying opportunities to grow the business in each retailer
  • In-store merchandising: working on assortments to optimize sales in-store based on SKU performance, current trends and retailer campaigns.
  • Analyzing needs and best practices for each retailer and being aware of competitor activity
  • Adapting all initiatives to the specific needs of each retailer
  • Working with partners and warehouse on special programs, such as exclusive bundles that are packaged in-house
  • Reporting monthly exposure by partners (newsletters, sampling, special initiatives, placement on dotcom, etc.)

OPERATIONS (30%)

You will partner with the Ops team to make sure forecasts are accurate and our DC and our retailers are fully stocked:

  • Working with Ops Manager on forecasts by SKU, by month, by account
  • Working with Ops Manager on organizing orders with retailers based on their deadlines and needs
  • Tracking free goods spent (samples, collateral, etc.) as well as RTV for monthly budget review

COPY WRITING AND CONTENT (20%)

  • Complete all new product setup from start to finish
  • Writing copy and updating content for dotcom partners (identifying key words, trends, etc.)
  • Working with the brand team to create the relevant assets for each retailer
  • Achieve budget sales for ESPA Retail Americas of 1M by growing the brand within existing partners or adding new luxury partners.
  • Introduce ESPA into Luxury retail markets in U.S. amp; Latin America
  • Introduce ESPA into Luxury Spas in the U.S. Canada amp; Latin America with assistance from ESPA Operations team.
  • Track all campaigns, GWP, amp; paid sampling to ensure success
  • As the main contact for ESPA new business in retail amp; spa, maintain all cust
