OPPORTUNITY

As the Senior Manager, Executive Recruitment?, you will partner with KIPP regions to lead effective and equitable end to end executive searches for senior executive vacancies across the KIPP network. On the Network Talent Team, we believe that having the right regional leaders is key to our regions creating joyful, academically excellent schools that prepare students to lead fulfilling lives and build a more just world. In this role, you will have a direct impact on this strategy by identifying the next generation of effective, anti-racist leaders at KIPP. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to racial and educational equity and understand the positive impact of having leaders who understand and share the lived experiences of our KIPPsters.

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as the primary recruiter for a variety of regional executive-level vacancies across the network, leading all steps of the process including candidate cultivation, selection, and matriculation.
  • Implement effective project management that will enable you to run up to 3 simultaneous searches and close at least 6 executive, c-suite searches annually.
  • Ensure KIPP Foundation and regional stakeholders understand and are engaged and invested in the executive search process through thoughtful relationship building and stakeholder management.
  • Continuously refine and improve the executive search function at the KIPP Foundation to ensure strategies, processes, and tools are supporting our desired outcome of efficient searches that identify effective, antiracist leaders.
  • Support shared Network Talent Team and broader KIPP Foundation strategies through collaboration and consultation.

The Senior Manager, Executive Recruitment reports to the Senior Director, Regional Leadership Development and manages the executive recruitment function at the KIPP Foundation. They are a member of the Network Talent Team and work collaboratively with the KIPP Foundation colleagues and regional leaders, boards, and talent teams to run effective and equitable, end-to-end executive searches.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Manager, Executive Recruitment’s primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Executive Recruitment and Selection
    • Maintain a portfolio of up to 3 simultaneous searches across a variety of C-level, regional roles and close at least 6 searches annually
    • Provide end-to-end project management for all searches, including developing and maintaining customized search project plans that include key milestones, strategies, and transparent roles and responsibilities for key stakeholders
    • Source: Generate a diverse and high-quality pool of prospects by conducting research to map talent markets and implementing creative sourcing strategies, including, but not limited to, online talent resources, networking, cold-calling, and referrals
    • Cultivate: Lead high-quality cultivation calls or other cultivation activities with active and passive prospects that garner insight into the candidate’s motivations, barriers, and skillsets while also sharing a compelling and customized value proposition
    • Select: Design and lead rigorous and equitable selection processes in partnership with regional hiring managers and selection committees, including leading application review and phone interview stag
