Today, Olive offers a variety of core products (e.g. Claims, Benefits Eligibility, Prior Authorization) built by our Strategic Maneuvers that deliver incredible value to our customers. In our never-ending pursuit to build the Internet of Healthcare, we recently asked ourselves, How can Olive create even more value by exploring how our technology can be applied to new healthcare use cases that aren’t yet considered product offerings while also empowering our engineers to play a more central role in solving problems? Thus the idea for Olive Labs was born.

Olive Labs is a new functional area that will apply the core capabilities of our Maneuvers (e.g. Robotic Process Automation, Loop Development Kit, Pathways) as well as create new technology to support the rapid delivery and exploration of a variety of healthcare use cases. In other words, Olive Labs will look to efficiently deliver customer value while also driving innovation and helping to inform the Maneuvers of new long-term product and roadmap opportunities.

Olive Labs is focused on building customer value that is not yet available as a product offered by the Strategic Maneuvers. Olive Labs will be at the forefront of rapid delivery of customer value and will lead the way in the evolution of Olive’s technology to support this goal.

Responsibilities (to include but not limited to):

• Peer review and code review participation to provide valuable feedback during every step of the development process
• Quickly produce well-organized, optimized, and documented code
• Communicate effectively and efficiently across all divisions including with the business, technical teams, and leaders
• Take technical ownership of tasks and successfully work independently
• Demonstrate the ability to become a domain expert in projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant equivalent experience
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Robotic Process Automation, Quality Assurance or other automation discipline
• Experienced in the development of highly maintainable and reliable code using practices such as unit testing, integration testing, proper code documentation, and appropriate logging
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
• Demonstrated understanding of fundamentals engineering concepts
• Knowledge of software and application design and architecture
  

Bonus Experience

• Javascript / Typescript (Olive's RPA tooling is JS based)
• Selenium, Puppeteer or other automation framework
• Windows UI Automation framework for accessibility
• Writing and reviewing detailed Technical Design Documents (TDDs) is a plus
