Position Description
The Front Desk Coordinator is an individual contributor who supports the general office staff. The Front Desk Coordinator works under close supervision of more experienced colleagues within the same technical or support area, or under close supervision of the supported staff. Supports professionals in their functions by solving administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcomes guests on the intercom and gives access to building
- Logs guest arrivals
- Issues door badges to visitors as needed and (maintain badge inventory)
- Directs guests to meeting locations throughout their stay
- Maintains reception area, kitchen amp; conference room tidiness
- Maintains pantry and office supply inventories
- Follows and documents opening/closing procedures daily
Requirements
- Team player who partners well with others
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Highly organized, with an attention to detail
- Dynamic and able to take on complete tasks swiftly and thoroughly with sophistication and professionalism even when scheduling conflicts occur
- Demonstrated proficiency with key administrative tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- A high degree of professionalism and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- Great verbal and communication skills
- Able to work independently and with a team
