Job Description
Huckberry is building a world-class Product team to take our House Brands to the next level. We are on a mission to create high-quality, differentiated products to serve our customer base. This includes apparel, footwear, home goods, accessories, gear, and more!
Production and Sourcing are the backbone of the House Brand’s team. We are looking for someone who can drive our agile supply chain, achieve our sustainability targets, and deliver quality products on time. This is a highly cross-functional role, working closely with our merchandising, planning, and finance teams to optimize our orders, react to shifting demand, and navigate global logistics. We are looking for a strategic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Navigate the global logistics climate to deliver goods on-time
- Ensure global calendar dates are met to protect merchandise flows and help prioritize the design and development teams according to delivery
- Manage vendor relationships with integrity while protecting our goals and quality standards
- Source and onboard new vendors that align with our quality, agility, and sustainability standards
- Lead our chase strategies at a style level, and work with our vendor base to achieve our targets
- Reduce lead-times through sourcing strategies, vendor allocation, creative problem solving
- Work closely with merchandising and planning to develop seasonal flow strategy for core and new product lines
- Own freight costs and minimize air shipments
- Ensure margin targets are met
- Identify potential supply chain risks and come up with strategies to mitigate those risks
- Work closely with our planning department to ensure we have the right on hand materials and components on core products.
- Manage and optimize production team
