The Algorithm Developer must be proficient coding in one or more high-level languages (C/C++ and/or Python) for building models of complex cyber physical systems which shall include optimization and/or search algorithm implementations. These algorithms will be prototyped with simulations and test data and refined with multi-source input data. Responsibilities of the position include data conditioning and analysis and construction of models leveraging optimization and search algorithms using this data. The Algorithm Developer should be comfortable with the use of data processing pipelines and diagnosis of errors and shortfalls in the algorithms used in such pipelines. Designing and implementing changes to algorithms used in these pipelines and their associated models is also important to this work. The Algorithm Developer will be responsible for developing and testing models and software, as well as providing supporting analysis and performance evaluations relative to metrics.
